I've seen a lot of people talk about how easy it is to not make Gil by hand, but it's like... At level 60, so the map arent hasn't unlocked for me yet. I don't know of any other way to make money, except to sell things in the market and ask for help, but isn't that fast?
I benefited a lot from the process of decomposition. Test and figure out which items break down into valuable items. Then determine the price line to buy. One example is to see a 3K chest film, and know that the price of each material is 3k, and have the chance to get multiple from the failure. Then, a possible Battle 3 Dems will be sold for 8-14k. So I set a 3K benchmark for buying these specific items. I made so much money selling live demo 1s that I only bought them from the market with random items of about 300 gils. I think this system will fail after the next patch pushes up the market, so I want to mention it.
